Preschool Program
The Saint Richard Catholic School Preschool Program serves children 3-5 years of age. Our preschool program is staffed by a teacher licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce and follows a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the State of Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards. We believe it is important to provide a safe and nurturing setting in which to foster each child’s self-help, motor, language, social, emotional, and cognitive development. Our classroom has a lead and assistant teacher who guide children in varied learning experiences. These activities are primarily child-oriented and child directed. The overall goal is to foster in each child a positive sense of their own self-worth and a belief in their own ability to learn and grow as capable, independent individuals in preparation for Kindergarten.
